Mandate
Executive Order No. 2022-010 an order establishing the office of the Tourism Culture and the Arts and designating its officer. The said EO states that LGU Bay recognizes the necessity for an office which shall facilitate all matters concerning the tourism, culture and arts in the Municipality of Bay, Laguna.
Vision and Objectives
A community where Arts, Culture, Tourism and Heritage and the stories of its people enhance the quality of life for all the residents and visitors.
Objectives:

- To lead, coordinate and facilitate the overall planning and development of Arts, Culture, Tourism and Heritage.
- To provide entertainment to tourists.
- Organize tourism related activities such as fairs, cultural & festival shows.
- To develop and manage places of tourists’ interest: lakeside, avenues, recreational places, etc.
Power and Functions

- Promote tourism activities.
- Formulate programs and projects for the development of the local community as tourist attractions.
- Develop innate talents related to cultural, sports & economic endeavors through presentation & competitions.
- Develop new products, assist in marketing and promoting the products and potential areas for tourist attraction & destination.
- Assist the municipal tourism council in formulating programs and implement recommendations.
- To develop local tourism destinations and attractions tapping local resources and national funds.
- Prepare annual budget for tourism promotion activities, allocate festival assistance fund in the Municipality.
- Assist in the implementation of the local government code on the matter of taxing & licensing of tourism related establishments in the locality, monitor & inspect to ascertain safe and enjoyable stay of travelers.
